Kitchen flooring help

We had a new kitchen put in January and we put down lino. I thought it would be soft under foot and easy to keep clean. I was wrong. It’s a nightmare to keep clean! The dirt seems to be engrained in it!
Does anyone have any tips as to how to give it a good clean and keep it clean?
We have a baby toddler and 2 big dogs so it’s a well used room!

We had a new kitchen in August and finding the same thing. We're getting a steam mop to see if that keeps it cleaner...

That’s what we did too,it didn’t help Sad

Just to say I had exactly the same thing and have found the only thing that works is a stiff bristle brush and scrubbing on the floor with diluted bleach or floor cleaner very hard! It's like a new floor!

Regular mopping with a bucket of hot water + squirt washing up liquid (bio wash powder sometimes) + scoop soda crystals.

Spray mop and steam mops good for quick clean, but hot soapy water is only way to really clean my floor.

In last house, we had varnished floor boards in kitchen - super easy to keep clean.

I can now confirm a steam mop is useless. Only thing that is working is down on hands and knees with a stiff bristle brush followed by e-cloth. It's good exercise but god, what a faff. The floor seems to be textured and holding onto dirt in every little divot so when I mop it just leaves the dirt down in the dips.

We've bought a big vinyl mat to put down in the middle of the floor, at least it's smooth so it cleans very quickly just with the e-cloth mop!
