What I’ve learnt.

I had a thread a while ago but I can’t find it. It was the fact that I feel that decluttering has significantly improved my menta health. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but January 2017 we decided that we needed to take a hold of our home, and sort it out. Over the last nearly two years we have declutterd, organised, cleaned and in placed painted. What I’ve learnt is that something needs to be done every day. However tired everyone is the dishwasher needs doing, the laundry needs doing, rubbish needs putting out.... we used to have piles and piles of mixed up that were too daunting to deal with. If you are looking around your home, thinking it’s too much to deal with, it’s not. If we can do ours then anyone can have a calmer happy home.

I definitely agree with you! My family throw around the "ocd" comment but it's just not true, I just love a fresh neat home. I feel a lot less stressed when everything is in its place and I know I'm on top of the cleaning!
