I have recently (past months) discovered a false widow spider living INSIDE my toilet window. It comes in and out of the vent! I’ve tried hoovering it and it’s had it’s fair share of Cillit Bang before I realised theres more than one!
I’ve never been fussed by spiders, had some pet tarantulas in the past. But I’m allergic to everything plus I have 2 kids one of which is a baby so I can’t risk anything.
I knew there was some in the back garden but now there’s one above the back door and the ones in the toilet window and I’m at my wits end! The one above the back door is smart! When I pick up the hoover it hides inside the wall since I tried to hoover it up yesterday! I’m petrified they’ll have babies and I’ve already seen some tiny spiders.
I’ve just been laid feeding DS2 in my bed and there was the biggest one yet on the ceiling! I got the cordless Shark out and, shaking like a sh*tting dog, accompanied by my trusty Dr Marten, hoovered the fucker up. I then did what any rational adult would do and kept the hoover on while I ran to the bathroom, then turned it off leaving it upside down and stuffed the end with tissue.
I don’t know what to do! Pest control is so expensive and I can’t even find one that deals with spiders. My OCD is crazy and I’m obsessively checking the windows and ceilings. There was one in my son’s room and one above his door! They’re also scarily hard to kill!
