Can anyone recommend a heavy based kettle for a gas Aga that doesn't have an Aga price tag?

What’s your definition of Aga price tag? Just asking cos my Aga kettle wasn’t exactly cheap but I imagine it will outlive me Smile so on a cost per use basis it’s a bargain (and cheaper than the electric kettle I use in summer when the Aga is off)

Our kettle is probably going to be value for money and will last for ever.

So this is basically the same as mine except I got mine fifteen years ago (so wasn’t the same price but probably comparable). It really will last forever though.

The Aga whistling kettle is £80 but I suppose cost per use isn't too bad at 4 times a day!

DM uses the Aga kettle her parents had when she was a child. She’s 75.....
