How do you get your windows streak-free

Just that really! My friend says she gets hers spotless using some fairy liquid in some water and then sucking up the water with a Karcher - I've tried it and have loads of streaks!

I use windex wipes after the karcher. They work better than actually spraying window cleaner. Get a nice streak free finish.

My mam has a Kärcher and I hate it! Leaves loads of streaks. I use any glass spray with a micro fibre cloth and then dry with kitchen roll or a dry tea towel.

Water and these cloths from Lakeland. They really do work and you don't need anything else.

White vinegar and newspaper. Sparkling, easy and cheap!

I use the stardrops window and glass cleaner then just dry it down with kitchen towel and it gets my windows sparkling but it doesn't work as well on my mums windows and she always gets so frustrated when she comes to my house and sees my streak free windows Grin

Not sure if it's her technique that's off or what but it's super cheap so you could give it a go.

I dont use spray at all. Just water on a cloth and then a bone dry cloth to buff it dry x

I was always terrible at doing my windows but I got a spray from Kleeneez(?) That is really good. Stinks of vinagar for a while though.

PiggeryPorcombe · 25/09/2018 16:05

Clean with whatever but the secret is to buff after - I use an old pillowcase.

Newspaper and white vinegar. Works a treat!
