Why does the washing machine seem to take twice as long when I'm doing last minute washing and desperate to get it out?

Why when I clean our hallway mirror does it end up with toddler finger prints all over it instantly, whereas if I don't bother for a couple of weeks it doesn't get worse, just has the same amount.

On a similar nore, why when I thoroughly clean the oven does it end up a state within a week, and seemingly no worse than before when I'd left it for months.

Why when I clean my windows does a bird poo on them.

Why is there always half a rotten onion right at the back of my fridge?

Anyone else?

Why is my PC keyboard always full of cake crumbs? Oh no. I know the answer to that one..

scatterbrain · 11/06/2007 10:26

At least you found it ! (It was you who lost it wasn't it ?? or am I going mad !)

SoupDragon · 11/06/2007 10:28

It was the cordless one I lost (and found, ontopof the scanner/printer covered by DS1s home work) but that one doesn't work despite new batteries and this one is fullof crumbs and BabyDragon has bashed it to pieces playing on Kneebouncers.com. Sigh.

Why does dh insist on turning our fridge up to freezing cold, which then leads to a river of water at the bottom once I have turned it down and then i have to mop it all up

All for the sake of a cold drink?!

scatterbrain · 11/06/2007 10:28

Ah that's one's easy - he is a MAN !

cremolafoam · 11/06/2007 10:30

why is the hose always 6 inches too short when watering pots?

why is there never an free plug socket for plugging in the hoover?

why when i have hoovered the whole house and sit down to have a well earned cuppa do i always see crumbs/fluff on the floor?
