Massive flying spiders!!!

Ok MNetters, I need help! I've noticed a deluge of spindly, thin legged, flying spiders (and they're HUGE) in my house the last few days.

Hit me with your best spider repelling hacks - pls note I don't want to kill any, I just don't want them to come into the house in the first place!

If they really are flying (not just seeming like it because you are scared) they are crane flies not spiders (aka Daddy Long Legs).

They are totally harmless, but disconcerting i know and often noisy. The good news is they are prevalent in September and you hardly see them the rest of the year. Just keep your windows/doors shut, esp at dusk/dark and they won’t get in (they’re not stealthy like spiders, they just bash around clumsily like bees).

They're easy to catch and release, if that helps?
