Help! burnt white melamine worktop

I have burnt the worktop next to the hob.

I have attacked it with bicarbonate of soda and biological washing powder, so most of it has gone, but there are still some burnt spots.

Is there such a product as tipex kind of thing that you can use to repair the work top? It is white, so colour match shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Oh dear .
Not sure if I can help but didn't want you to be ignored.
I have seen enamel repair stuff - in sort of a tipex bottle for using on enamel baths etc, - but I guess that would be a different finish to the melamine.
