Miele washing machine and tumble drier

I am absurdly excited. I have won a top of the range Miele washing machine and drier, and they arrive tomorrow! They cost about $4500 AU or 2149 pounds....EACH! I have always managed perfectly well with my Bosch washing machine, and I don't even own a drier as I live in Australia and for most of the year don't need one as I have a perfectly adequate washing line. I was tempted to sell but can't find anything similar on gumtree. Does anyone else have one? Is it, as the the store guy says, going to change my life? Grin

By the way I am absolutely not selling them now, not since I saw them in the showroom and fell in love Grin

I think Miele is more expensive in AU due to shipping costs and small market share. Much like how Fisher and Paykel is expensive in the uk compared to Au/NZ.

I doubt it'll change your life but it should prove very reliable.

You're right, if I convert it to UKP its about 300 quid cheaper in the UK. Still 2149 quid each though! I can wash duvets in it, and re-proof waterproof jackets, not that I own one. And it washes cashmere, not that I have any of that either. Grin

I love my Miele washer dryer (hardly ever use the dryer as I prefer to hang my clothes). It VERY old now....
