Drying laundry indoors

Not a problem right now (summer) but the rest of the year we hang our clothes on racks in the spare room to dry them (warmest room, has the boiler and airing cupboard, also in our tiny house it's out of sight). However... this will be the baby's room in a few months. Would it be dangerous for him or her to have damp clothes hanging up in the same room?

There's no room for a tumble dryer plus for eco reasons I don't want one but I don't like the idea of having laundry on racks in bedroom, living room or dining room! One rack over the bath would partly help. Am considering Sheila Maid - but in which room?

Any tips would be most welcome!

Do you have radiators that you can put the washing on but not in the babys room?
I normally avoid putting clothes on ds's radiator to dry, i dont think its dangerous but i dont think its very healthy to have a baby lying in a damp room either.
