OVEN CLEANER

Oven cleaner recommendations please.

What products do you use? Nothing seems to shift the filth! I can't get the glass door clean either- even Bar Keepers Friend won't touch it.

Why did I go for a range oven when I could have had a self cleaning oven??

White vinegar and bicarb

Leave for 20 minutes

Rinse

That Oven Pride in the orange box does an amazing job Smile

It has a huge bag to put the shelves in with some of the liquid & then you can spread the rest on the sides & floor & door.

It’s a bit messy but leaves everything pretty clean (eventually)

Hmm - just noticed it says don’t use on the glass door but I did Grin

You could also try Fairy Power Spray on the door - I’ve used that too (it probably also says not to...Confused)

Astonish oven paste, marvellous stuff.

I've had trouble cleaning the glass on mine too. Was considering paying oven cleaner. He did my sons after he bought a house and the wall oven was filthy. What a cracking job he did. Don't know what he used.

I’ve had an oven cleaner in several times & he is fab. Highly recommended Smile £45 for a single oven.

I think what they use is a variant of Oven Pride, only in a huge tank in the back of the van, plus some razor blades (or something). It leaves the oven gleaming & I always get a new bulb thrown in, as mine often blows.

HG Oven and BBQ cleaner (from Homebase, Wickes etc).

I’ve also used an oven cleaning service (amazing).

More extremely, my oven has just died so my new one is going to be pyrolytic so I don’t ever have to worry again (apart from the shelves and door) 😂

Thanks all for your recommendations
