Washer dryer?

No space for a dryer. Lots of laundry hanging round or washer dryer? Wanted to know peoples thoughts, seen some bad reviews saying they never dry anything. Could possibly squeeze a small dryer in my room

I've had one for the last 6 years, and I'm generally happy with it. I tend to put a lot on the clothes horse still, but I've washed and dried a set of Super King bedding this morning.

I think the dryer is better for small loads, rather than a full drum of washing.

I had a washer drier in my old flat. I loved it. We only really used it in the colder months and in emergencies but I do miss having one. Ours only dried stuff badly if we put it on a wash dry cycle. Bizarrely if I just did a wash cycle, waited for it to end and then clicked it on to a dry cycle afterwards it would dry it all perfectly. Also, larger wash loads will take longer to dry.

A very good idea to have a washer-dryer if you don't have space for both separately. People will say one part will go wrong and the other will still be going but so what, nothing lasts forever and it isn't going to go wrong all of a rush if you look after it.

I use my tumble dryer all the time but don't dry stuff from scratch, hang it up for a while first and finish off in the dryer so it is nice and soft and often doesn't need ironing if you take items out as soon as drying cycle is finished.
