Had new washing machine delivered today which I was so excited about as I have a mountain of washing to do. Problem is the fitter said that the waste pipe is too short (1.5m) and said I'd need to drill another closer bore hole in the cabinet wall so that the pipes would reach. I suggested about using an extension pipe to make it longer and he said it might get twisted & cause blockages. My mother in law uses an extension pipe (for 10 yrs now) and she doesn't have any problems. Any suggestions on whether I use extension pipe or drill a new hole?
