Red soup stain - white top!

The old Heinz soup leapt out of its bowl and landed on my front today. I scrubbed it with washing up liquid and then washed with varnish, but I still have a red stain on the front.

Is there anything I can do?

Sunshine. Sunshine is the best thing in the world against tomato based stains. Wash and leave it to dry outside in as bright light as possible, preferably for a day. Wash it again over night and leave to dry for another day. Honestly, works every time.

Ooh - ok. The next couple of days are looking like they might be quite sunny. I'll try re-washing it wash morning and hanging it out each day 👍

Didn't know that about sunshine PP. interesting.

Shame I've just discovered it after the sunniest year ever but I look forward to trying it next year!

100% sunshine. I spilt a whole tray of bbq ribs down by white top.
After washing there was still a big yellow stain.
4 hours in direct sunlight and every trace disappeared.

D'ya know what - you lot are bloody amazing!

Washed it again this morning, it spent the day on the line and there isn't a trace of it left!

I feel like I have learnt some kind of dark magic!
