Removing Wax from Burner

Heyyy! So I’m OBSESSED with wax melts & have been trying the tip of melting the wax briefly then scooping it out with cotton wool pads but it just doesn’t seem to work for me! I follow insidelaurashome on Instagram & noticed she’d put up a tip about putting the entire burner in the freezer for a short amount of time then the wax just pops out once it’s frozen!!! Has anyone tried this? I was thinking it may be better cause then I could maybe re-use or do something else with the frozen wax…? x

Melt the wax completely and then the cotton wool absorbs it. I use the waxy cotton wool in my wardrobe as air fresheners

When you first light it after it's set, leave it a couple seconds then nudge it and should come straight out in one block

Yep freezer. Only takes 5 mins and just shrinks it enough to fall out.

Yes, I always put the whole burner in the freezer. The wax shrinks a tiny bit and pops out very easily!
