Someone please tell me about slow cookers!

I'm thinking of getting a slow cooker. Can anyone recommend one please?
I will be out if the house for around 9 hours each day.

We've recently bought one from Currys and it's great. Decent size so that you can fit loads in but also cookers at the rate that you need depending on how long you're going to be out. Slow Cooker Here
