What's this wire rack in the microwave for? (Photo incl.)

Sorry, probably a silly question but I constantly just remove it when using the microwave. I'm decluttering at the moment but would love to know what it's for before I fling it (my best guess is it's a shelf to microwave two things at once?)

Does it have a grill as well? You wouldn't use metal in microwave mode but maybe you would in grill mode

It's for when you use it as a grill oven.

Oops, yes, it says grill on the door and there's a "Grill 1-2-3" button on the panel

Never looked before and probably threw the instruction manual in the bin about 4 years ago. Mmm, might hang on to it and check out how to use it.
