20 degree wash?

My washing machine has a mix and wash program which says it washes as well as a 40 wash but only at 20 degrees. It adjusts time etc depending on weight of wash but does take longer than the standard 40 degree quick wash.

Do you think think this can possible clean things sufficiently? It has 3 levels of soiling to choose from too.

You could find out by putting a wash on......

Lol I know but just because it looks clean doesn’t mean it is clean surely? Fine with tops and jeans etc but what about pants and socks.....

There is a thread in Adk Me Anything from a laundry detergent person I'd ask there as they have given a lot of good advice for what's it's worth given that 30 degree washes are pretty poor I certainly would bother with a 20 degree one especially not for pants/socks/ towels etc
