AO washing machine installation

My indesit washing machine died today. Well, it refuses to drain so I was left with lots of soggy smelly washing! Im about to order one from AO and plan to get them to install it.

Anyone used AO for this, and were there any problems?! I'm worried they won't take it if there's some water still in the machine! Many thanks!

I used AO when I bought a new washing machine, and it was an absolute disaster.

They damaged a pipe running from my boiler and left water flooding over my kitchen floor. They refused to come back that day, kept promising to come back on subsequent days, and never turned up

In the end I had to get a plumber at my own expense to fix it.

I would never, ever use them again.

Washing machines are really easy to install, I would save the expense and do it yourself.

Does your old washing machine have a little hose by the filter thing? That's how you can manually drain it. If you haven't already, check the filter as it might just need a clean (mine wouldn't drain but once I cleared a large build up of fluff from the filter it was fine!)

Brilliant experience here with AO in last 12 months.

I have a BTL that is 1.5hrs away, washing machine died. Normally DH can pop down to sort as his job is flexible but he was away.
Bought new one from AO which arrived the next day. Installed, removed old one and all packaging and left very happy tenants.
(It was actually a washer/dryer)
