DH's best white shirt (50/50 poly cotton) has come out the wash with a load of weird, oil-like stains on it. DS's was the same last week - we have worked out that it must be from a party we attended recently where there were little bottles of bubbles in champagne style plastic bottles on each table, and he and DS were blowing them at each other. He then put the bottle in his pocket which is where the worst marks are. The rest are all on the front in circular shapes - I can only imagine the bubble mix reacted somehow with my Bold pods, as nothing was visible before the wash
.
Anyway - I washed it at 40 and have since soaked in stain remover and scrubbed with Vanish but to no effect. Has anyone any advice on how hot I could wash this shirt? I'd boil it if it was cotton but the instructions say 40'
. I can't try DS's shirt first as I binned it........
