Washing shower curtain?

Sorry for such a dull thread! We have two white shower curtains around our bath and because the bottoms go brown over time I end up regularly replacing them. I have tried washing with Vanish before but it didn't make much difference. Any clever way to get them fresh and white again?! It is expensive to keep replacing them! Thanks all :)

Thanks all, I did a hot wash at 60 with a capful of bleach and Persil and it came up so well, the seam is still slightly discoloured but should improve if I do it more regularly! They are a bit crumpled but hopefully that will fall out. I never wash anything at 60, so this has been a revelation! Thanks. Feel much happier each time I get in the shower now!

I used to just squirt kitchen bleach cleaner on them whilst hanging up, don't rinse and leave to dry. Everynow and then I'd wash them.
