Downsizing home

We're currently living in a 4 bed detached home with lots of storage and buying a 2 bed with no storage. Has anyone got any space savings tips or any storage ideas? I've binned as much as I can already Smile

Offload more. We did the same thing and still moved too much with us. We are fortunate in that we have a cellar. We boarded the loft as soon as we moved in and put up shelves where we could. I have racks on the walls too.

The temptation is to buy storage but it's a mistake because you're storing more than there's room for, and it feels claustrophobic. I struggled with getting rid of perfectly usable furniture etc just because it was too big. Some things that I loved have been sold and replaced with more compact alternatives. Wish I'd done it sooner.
