Samsung American style fridge freezer

Would be grateful for help/advice please. New fridge/freezer was installed on Monday. We’ve done all the right things re settling etc. but the freezer doesn’t appear to be working. Ice cream lollies have melted but ready meals are still frozen. Bought pizzas to freeze earlier today and they don’t even feel cold. Fridge is fine, as is chilled water/ice dispenser.

Definitely doesn't sound right - we didn't have any of those problems when we got ours a couple of years ago.

We had one a couple of years ago, complete lemon. Water / Ice dispenser leaked, total nightmare.

After a week the store offered a replacement, I refused & paid the extra for the Bosch equivalent.

Having said that they get rave reviews but one of the lads who took it away said sometimes you get a completely dud one, but if it works its great.

If it was me I'd want a replacement / different one, not a repair. Talk to the store you got it from.

I can't remember the model we had but it was all black, very popular at the time.

The silver Bosch equivalent has been brilliant. HTH

We bought our Samsung American style FF in May although it isn't the latest model. What model number is yours? What temperatures have you set the freezer and the fridge to?

Thank you all for replying, ours is the latest model black version. I think, as Tr1skel1on says, we’ve simply got a duff one. Curry’s have agreed to replace it. In hindsight we should have done more research but I was all excited about the new kitchen and wanted that black one. This is the first time I’ve posted so sorry for not highlighting Tr1skel1 - I don’t know how to do it yet. Was so pleased to get some responses though, I wasn’t sure anyone would bother.
