Vented tumble dryer

Does anyone have one they would recommend? We need to get one to replace our current condenser dryer as it will be going behind a cupboard door and apparently this isn’t safe for condenser dryers. So vented it is. But these really don’t seem that popular any more and there aren’t many available. Samsung don’t even make one at all that I can see. Are they rubbish? Does anyone have a good one?

Thanks.

I have a Bosch one. It's a few years old but very efficient and reliable.

White Knight. They’re very basic but still made in the U.K. and very reliable

We're on our second White Knight. First one lasted over 15 years. Cost about £180.

Vented are still a bit better than condenser but as condensers have improved (they used to be crap compared to vented) they have become more popular simply because they don't need you to vent through a hole in the wall (which means you can put them in more places).

Samsung have invested everything into their new(ish) heat pump technology - ultra power efficient.

Beko are ok. Miele are the best. Depends what you can afford.

We have a Samsung washing machine which we love (well..I love it. The issue with heat pump ones is that they aren’t suitable for putting behind doors apparently.
