When we moved house, our ten year old fridge freezer, a lovely big American style one with a decent freezer, packed up. I searched for a replacement and we decided on separate fridge and freezer, larder style, which gave us the room to store loads and not take up much more room than the old one. But, we couldn't afford to spend loads, so got a bottom to middle of the range one. The trouble is, as my subject heading says, anything that is too close to the back wall of the fridge freezes. We've had frozen lettuce, cucumber you name it. It is frustratign as we really only have half the fridge space than what is there. We can't afford to replace it yet, so I am looking for suggestions of fridge storage so I can still store loads, but it doesn't get ruined. Thanks.
