mission

Have now been for my run with all three kids streaming ahead of me! Am off to make lunch.

Hi am back and going to watch neighbours for my sins!

My done list:

hoovering done
s&s kitchen done
s&s bathroom done
give the boys a haircut still to do
general tidy up done
hang washing out on the line done
W/M to be loaded done
abit of ironing not done

To do:

Ironing
another load of washing
some lunch
put away the towels

seem to be getting a bit sidetracked....have now dusted pretty much every room and put my 3rd load of washing in.

We have decided to move the kids rooms around. DD2 and DS need to go together in one room and DD1 needs to go on her own in DS's room....DS cries pretty much every night at the moment that he doesn't want to sleep on his own in his own room, and DD2 is a really light sleeper....and DD1's hamster keeps waking her up...as does DD1's snoring!!!
But....DD1 won't swop rooms as DS has a Thomas The Tank border and she says "Its for babies"
I really need to persuade her its a good idea though as bed times are becomming an absolute nightmare! DS cries and cries and ends up getting into bed with DD2....who then thinks its time to play. DD1 falls off to sleep and snores and snores..and DS moans! DD2 then gets woken up by DS who is in her bed...the hamster who is on the shelf above her...and DD1 snoring.

I sat upstairs last night from about 7.30 while they all bed hopped, faffed, wriggled, sang every blinkin song I know, fed the bloody hamster a whole carrot in the vain attempt to stop it "Chink chink chink chinking" "gnaw, gnaw, gnawing" "rin rin rin rinning" (thats the noise the wheel makes BTW!) It was 10.15 pm by the time I came downstairs and everyone was finally asleep

May go investigate a room swop

iron one basket
sort out dinner
get bag ready for legoland tommorrow
send off deposit for bouncy castle
water tomato plants done
clear buckets and spades from lawn (or they'll be a permenant imprint!) done
send birthday card
pay credit card bill done
order mil's curtains done

also cleaned one loo
and hoovered and dusted behind tv (it was boak..)

Tidyied living room
Hung out washing
Fed and walked dogs

To do:
Put on another load
Hoover
Put washing away

In my defence,mum turned up for coffee and then kids had a play date. Was doing well until 12!

Oh,and did hotspots already this wk!!! [smug emoticon]

Well I have swopped the bedrooms round (I'm knackered but hopefully we will all get some kip!!! )
DS and DD1 both seem happy with the arragement.

Yadd you sound like you are having the same night as me. Tea is cooking and the kids are watching Totally Dr Who, have been shopping by myself this afternoon and I throughly enjoyed it without the kids! Am off to wedding in 3 weeks time and I had to get the rest of my outfit and some new toothbrush heads for my DS2's toothbrush. So tea is going to be a lot later tonight. I am so looking forward to it as I am starving!

Hello everyone else

I'm shattered! We've had a busy day with only 45mins between the first and second set of friends coming to play! The kids have mostly been in the garden playing with our new "crazy daisy" - a toy flower you plug in to the hose that then sprays water randomly and wildly around the garden = much fun for kids The last friends left at 5, then we had a quick supper and all joined in a quick tidy-up which was really great - must make kids help more often.
Kids are ready for bed now and sleepily having their cup of milk on the sofa in front of bedtime hour
I've go to get up for work in the morning so it feels a bit like the last day of the holidays today

Right...yawns all round here, so I'm off to get kids in their PJ's...do teeth....wash faces....have a quick story and hope to god they all go to bed!!! DS seems very happy to be in with DD2, and now we have put posters over Thomas, Percy and James, DD1 seems happy too. She is taking great delight in not letting the other two in her room I'm just a tad worried DS will want his lamp on...DD2 won't get to sleep unless it is dark (you just can't please everyone can you!!!)
