How much would you pay...

...for someone to clean:

  • a small box bathroom
  • a long but small kitchen
  • mop small lounge
  • mop small front room
  • do ironing for two people

All once a week? To do this myself would probably take a couple of hours. Willing to sacrifice the ironing and do it myself but with baby on the way and DP working all hours a bit of help would be lovely!

Thoughts?

From £10.50 ph in London area. Most people I know pay £11-11.50.
You could phone a domestic help agency and ask what they charge (they're generally quite efficient) then work out how long it will take to clean the place and do a bit of ironing.

I think most cleaners would hoover hard floors before mopping tbh,so factor in time for that too.I have 2 cleaners for 2 hours a week, it's £24 an hour.I'm in Bucks.

Sorry,that's just cleaning,no ironing.
