Despite wearing coveralls my daughter has covered a top in paint. Any stain removal recommendations please?

What sort of paint? Water or oil-based?

If it is water based paint and the paint is still wet, gently scrape off excess paint and rinse then soak.
If the paint is dry, soak in tepid soapy water (you may need to repeat this), then wash as normal.
If the paint is oil-based and wet, the same.
Oil-paint and dried, scrape off the worst and soak affected area in solvent (white spirit, nail varnish remover etc) and wash. It probably won't be as new.

We were at a messy play session so I’m not sure. I’d like to think water based, it was Tesco go create but I can’t see if it’s water based or not online!

It will be poster paint. Almost certainly water based and should wash out. Soak first in soapy warm water.

Thank you! Soaked it in water and gave the marks a scrub and they’ve come out.
