Fly infestation.

Help! I think we've got a fly infestation. 2 days ago we had no flies. Since yesterday...I've killed more than 20 and every room I go into I see more. Counted 5 in our hallway this morning! It's disgusting.
What should I do? I'm killing flies when I see them (and can reach them). Going to hoover/ mop all floors and disinfect all surfaces.
I've not seen any fly larvae. Ew!
Is it possible such a large number of flies all descended on our house at the same time or is it more likely we've had fly larvae?
We are keeping windows shut to stop more flies coming in.
Anything else I should do?
I've got fly spray so will spray some of that in each room too.

OK once the spiders have dealt with the flies, you need birds to deal with the spiders.

Same here, could be the weather and fortnightly bin collections. I closed windows but they were coming through the gas vent in my back door. Tried fly spray but they must be super flies as they just kind of laugh at me vertically saying "is that all you got"
