Just back from hols and noticed we've got a trail on small ants in the kitchen it looks like they are going between French doors and kitchen cupboards. How do I get rid of them and stop them coming back?

We had them recently and DH bought an ant bait trap thing. They went pretty quickly after that.

If you can see where they are coming from fill the hole with blu Tack. Worked for me

Salt deters them as well.

Mix equal parts of bicarb ( or baking powder) with icing sugar. Sugar attracts them and they take the bicarbonate back to the nest which kills them off.

We had a rampant ant ( walking and flying) infestation a few weeks ago where they were coming through the air brick under our floorboards. Two days later and they were gone! Far more effective than Nippon!
