Only one! I'm slacking a bit with the double posts!

Good morning all

A special hello to glitterfairy. I hope you and your children had a wonderful non FLYing day. Does your face still look like this?

yes it does! Thanks jas and good morning one and all. My ds came into my bedrom punching the air this morning and went mum it really is over isnt it? Bless him he is now singing in the shower.

I have a little bit of a hangover but am confused about which zone we have been in or are in! I wonder is it me? Was it a dream and will I see someone I thought was dead coming out of the shower at any moment?(obviously after my ds has come out!)

Jas · 25/05/2007 07:13

We are in the master bedroom (but it isn't you, Kelly is obviously confused, bless her, and seems to think we arre in the bathroom some of the time)

I'm off to do breakfast...

Morning all you lovely FLY peeps

GF

Well had a curfuffle this morning. It is "Fruity Friday" at DD1's school today! She has gone dressed as an apple!

Just the boring old jobs to do today. I have to be up at her school for 2pm today to apple bob

shouldbe · 25/05/2007 09:53

lol Luda 'fruity Friday' sounds fun!
I need to get on - too much time spent on the pc already this morning....

Aufish · 25/05/2007 09:57

Back from school, my feet are really sore today, last night they were so swollen that I couldn't walk on them.

My to do list:

make beds
hoover and sweep floors
put away the towels
wash and dry up (did roast dinner last night but was unable to do the dishes due to feet)
mop the kitchen floor
clean down the kitchen sides, clean the other oven
clean bathrooms
washing x 2 loads
wrap my DS2 teaching assistant leaving present
ironing needs to be done this evening, hoping my feet will be fine later

I need to get off here and get on with it otherwise it will not all be done. Will be back at 1.30 to update you all.

ludaloo · 25/05/2007 09:57

Well DD is excited... not sooooo enthusiastic myself!

I had better get on too!!

ludaloo · 25/05/2007 09:59

Hi Aufish...poor feet! Maybe you could sit and iron??? (never tried it myself but if you put the ironing board low enough...and sat on a stool?????)

shouldbe · 25/05/2007 10:10

Aufish looks as though your feet are telling you to sit with your feet up for a bit

Aufish · 25/05/2007 10:10

Hi Luda I have tried ironing sitting down before but it was no good. I hate this time of the year as I have found that since having kids they swell, I don't have any problems at any other time of year just in May which I find bizarre!

shouldbe · 25/05/2007 10:11

Luda My dd loves any excuse to dress up - esp if it gets her out of wearing her school uniform Last time she had to go as a book character so we did Heidi

shouldbe · 25/05/2007 10:13

...I really need to get on with some jobs...
Will be back in an hour with lots of dones on my list (hopefully )

shouldbe · 25/05/2007 11:17

~make beds done
~washing x2 if poss 1 load in
~empty dw done
~s&s kitchen done, and hob
~tidy everywhere done upstairs
~more gardening
~collect ds
~pack picnic tea
~collect dd
~go to Wildlife Park for a picnic
~come home all nice and tired
~put kids to bed
~make jug of Pimms and enjoy

Looking like rain hope it stays away so we can have our outing this afternoon....

ludaloo · 25/05/2007 11:19

I have just sat playing about on YouTube for the last half an hour!!
Have to go and get ds now....

shouldbe · 25/05/2007 11:22

tut tut Luda

Olivebranch · 25/05/2007 11:40

I'm playing hookey for once and I'm leaving the housework till later. As I've decided to dig up the path in the back garden which I have hated for years. However, rain looks as though its looming and I have a 2 ft by 15 ft trench dug up at the moment in my garden !! DH is due home at 2pm today and has no idea what's going on - wait till he sees the garden he's going to completely lose the plot.
Thing is if I don't start these jobs they never seem to get done. So I'd bet go and see if I can pretty the trench up a bit

catch you at lunch time

shouldbe · 25/05/2007 13:44

Where is everyone today?does everyone have better things to do?

shouldbe · 25/05/2007 13:45

Good luck with the back garden olive -sounds like a big project!

Jas · 25/05/2007 14:26

I've been out all day, and when I got back I did the house work before coming to check on you lot
I've got an extra two kids for tea, so not back on til tonight. Hope everyone had a good day.
I'm hoping for rain in the night. I put grass seed down this week and I need it watering.

OP posts:
shouldbe · 25/05/2007 14:39

Jas I can hardly function these days without checking on here first!
Rain over-night would be great - just hold it off till 7pm when we get home. Going to head off in a minute.
Have the day off work tomorrow looking forward to a lazy Saturday for a change
See you later x
