Anyone gone one of those 'swivel sweepers' and are they any good?

They have them at my work and my colleague who does the cleaning seems to think so - anyone else got any opinions?

I've got a swifer thing that sweeps the floor and kind of swivels. I have a feeling you are referring to something more complex? I have got a steam mop though! That is great.

I have one and it's great!
My mum bought one from kleeneze and it broke after a short time but ours is fab. The batteruy lasts ages and it's great for a quick sweep around. Hold on, I'll go and see what the name is...
Yes, it's called a swivel sweeper. Dh bought it online and 2 more for my mum and mil!!!

Are they quiet? DD2 gets hysterical if I use the hoover anywhere near her because she doesn't like the noise, so I'm looking for a quieter alternative!

oh great thanks! BonyM - they are not really quiet but certainly a lot quieter than a standard hoover.
