I got a king size on groupon a while ago for £60, less than half price.

Yes, but probably not the best quality and almost definitely not ethically produced. I have seen them (new btw) on eBay quite cheap.

I bought a duck and feather duvet from Argos very cheaply. Cant remember how much but it's their Living range I think

I’d best look for ethical ones..

I would if you can, it’s horrific how most father is produced (I actulally binned all my feather bedding when I learned about it, I now have something called Microfibre cluster “down feel”, which are great).

For ethical feather, believe M&S is one that does it.

Was just reading that John Lewis and Ikea have signed up to something about ethical feathers too

I would look at groupon for that price range, or wait for the next big sales

Oh no, I didn't even know there were ethical issues with feathers - just bought a feather pillow as trying to move away from microfibres/synthetics because they are basically plastic & non-biodegradable. I suppose it's obvious there would be cruelty involved if I'd thought more about it. How depressing.

Try Boston Duvet & Pillow Company. I have bought a couple of great duvets from them. If you go on Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert website they often have discount codes for them too.

Soak and Sleep have feather and down duvets for less than £30 at the moment and have an ethical manufacturing policy. I get all of our bedding from them: www.soakandsleep.com/special-buy-goose-feather-and-down-duvet.html
