Monday's mission

i can do that - nothing under the bed so will hoover!

I need to get back on track and take the pressure off DH - he isnt doing too well at the moment, and i have gotten VERY lazy.

Will report back when ive done it!

Morning all

I'll be doing my usual busy Monday activities today so will be out of the house most of the day. Slept badly due to this nasty cough/cold so would much rather stay in bed today but that's just not going to happen
~take dd to school
~clean out fridge
~take ds to baby and toddler group
~go to supermarket
~buy wellies for ds
~unpack shopping
~collect dd and friend and take to after-school activity
~come home and make supper
~put kids to bed

I"M glad you had a good day yesterday, simply tort I hope it goes ok today, and the sw takes your views seriously.

My bedroom is a disaster area, due to paartially cleaned wardrobe, plus big piles of stuff from dds room yesterday, to be put in loft.
I will do as much as I can, depending on how long ds sleeps today. Under the bed is bot good, either. There are christmas left overs there

I have made tonights tea already this morning (huge pot of bolognese sauce,may turn 1/2 of it into lasagne and freeze it.)

I *urgently need to defrost the freezer, too. I have to kick the drawers to shut them.

Back after school run/shopping.

Morning shouldbe jarm and jelley. Have already hung out some washing and done the lunch boxes and managed to start getting the house in order this weekend.

I am stopping working at home in a few weeks though and will keep up with the flying but I am going to have to have help as well.

Will do a list later after my run.

Nothing under my bed either I do need to spend 15 mins in the bedroom decluttering later though.

My Dd2 has a high temp and was sick in two different beds last night, so beds have been stripped already this morning. My Ds has already had this bug, and I thought my girls had gotten away with it....but evidently not

Lots of washing to do today. I can't actually do the mission as there is a sideboard under my bed (in pieces...not a whole sideboard lol)and as there is no where else it can go, it will have to stay put.

Good morning, have just got back from school as I've just seen DD2 off on her school trip.

Not alot else that I can think of though once the washing machine is fixed I will be doing a good few washes.

And what an odd morning it has been tbh

I took DS to school today and went to the toddler group, collected him and checked the online banking

Patch and Austin seem to be happy together They have been sharing DS's rocket trimmings and just...hanging out in a molluscy way. They are just boring ole garden snails. Patch is very active as snails go but I was concerned about Austin...S/he just seemed a mardy mollusc but ironically s/he's come out of their shell a bit now. S/he likes the plastic plant pot to hide in. I hope they don't have eggs and I'm getting tips from petsnails.com

Well I have to get DS dressed and fed and up to MIL by 1:30 as I'm seeing my neurologist at 2:15, so I better frame myself, byeeeeeeeeeeee

I am feeling a bit hungover now. Being up half the hight has really caught up with me! DD2 seems ok really, has a temperature but she is still pottering about. There are so many bugs flying around I'm really tired of them all.

(The bloomin hamster......had nudged its water bottle out of its special holder bit....which left a hole....it then pushed all the sawdust out the hole!! It was everywhere!! The hamster is on a shelf above DD2's bed...so I had a nice mixture of sick and sawdust all over her bed My poor hoover is a godsend!!!!)

Thankyou....and thanks to everyone who has wished her better...i hope she doesn't have it all week like Ds did

I have managed to sit at the dining table and sort though loads of letters/bills which have been sat there sice before I went to hospital.

My DH is back to work today and I'm being looked after by mum, who is doing a wonderful job of cleaning around me.

Lastly the district nurse (who comes daily to clean my infected gall bladder wound) has come with some better softer dressings, which are anti-allergic. So hopefully I'll stop getting the itchy blister rash like the other dressings gave me...fingers crossed. So things should get more comfortable very soon
