Carpet Cleaners

Does anybody own a carpet cleaner (shampoo thing not vacuum)
Recommendations and reviews please 😊
Unsure whether the home ones are worth buying or if it's better to just pay someone to come and do the job

I’ve got the vax ultra 2, best thing I’ve bought with young kids, wash my stairs carpets and also sofas car seats etc, the shampoo is quite expense but does last a while, I tend to wash my rugs every other week (cream and white) it has so far got rid of all the stains that the kids have thrown around in the house,

Highly recommend to buy the vax ultra 2 if your not looking to get the carpets washed regularly it would probably be cheaper to get one hired

I had a vax which kept breaking. Now I just hire a rug doctor for a day or two which does a much better job and means I don’t need to try to store it
