What the title says really - any tips on how to keep on top of it all?? Wondered how other mums managed to work, do the after school activities, keep home & cook? Hoping I can make little changes to make my home run a little smoother. Smile

I do 1 x laundry load per day, vacuum floors daily & do a quick 5min bathroom clean daily as standard. I then clean 1 room per day and allow 30 mins for this(in the week only as keep my weekends housework free) & do all my ironing on a Sunday evening. I keep kitchen tidy by tidying/wash dishes as I go.

Clean house.
Children.
Sanity.

Pick 2.

Cleaner comes twice a week. It stays clean about 5mins. Rest of the time it’s a dump.

I have a similar routine to SuzieClaire. I keep
on top of kitchen, hovering and bathroom
wiping daily and do a deeper clean in one room weekly. One of my own rules is to always have the dishwasher emptied before bed- that way I can start to reload with breakfast dishes in the
Morning which makes the whole
Place look and feel tidier.

Cooking wise, I make dinners ahead of time, usually in the afternoons before school
pick up, then it’s warming up later after activities. This does vary tho depending on what we have on and what we’re eating.

Stop caring. It's probably only you that notices whether things are as clean and tidy as you like them.
