Oooopppppppppppppsssssssssss. Think I must be a bit to eager with the housework tonight and seem to have washed one of dd's used disposible nappy with a load of washing . What do I do..??

Its very clean btw BUT my washer is now full of clear jelly like bits..? Obviously this is what is usually placed in the nappy to absorb wee etc but how the hell do I clear it from my washer and the freshly washed clothes..?

I have cleared as much as I can from the washer but wondered of I have done any possible damage to the washer or clothing and am I ok to run the clothes through another cycle or should I run an empty cycle..???

Shit..shit..shit....

run an empty to clean the machine out.

I would empty your filter, then do a empty wash then check filters again

shhhh · 19/05/2007 20:12

sorry to sound stupid but where would the filter be..???? is it the thing at the bottom that I unscrew to open...???

thing is the nappy is shiny and clean!! Think it was a dirty one as well BUT can't seem to find a trace of it anywhere!! No doubt I will pay the price when I next have to clean out the washer..!!

Take clothes out and shake as much jelly off and then put back in washer and wash as normal. Should clear up. It's totally safe as well so don't worry about that.

walbert · 19/05/2007 22:36

Done it loads of times shh! It doesn't clog washer, and as afr as getting the disco sparkly jhelly bits off the washing goes, i'd just wash it all again!
