Induction hob vs Le creuset pan

Quick question - I'm staying in a holiday cottage with an induction hob! I always take my cast iron le creuset pot for cooking but not sure I can use it on this hob despite it passing the 'magnetic' test - will it damage the hob? I've never used one before.

Yes, it will work fine! I love induction.

It should be fine - when I first got my induction hob, the free set of pans which came with it were late arriving and the only pot I could use was an old le creuset.

No reason the pan would damage the hob unless you whack it down so hard it smashes the glass! I've used Le Creuset pots on my induction hob for 10 years with no problems. Well, I let some boil dry and chipped the enamel, but that was me being an idiot and nothing to do with it being an induction hob!
