Tumble dryer recommendations please

Our trusty Miele Novotronic T220 has just stopped heating clothes and haven't been able to contact an engineer yet. If the repair is expensive we may need a new dryer. Can anyone recommend any? The latest thing seems to be pump models but have read that they take longer to dry clothes? What are the Which? best buys for this year, anyone know? Thanks so much! :-)

I signed up for a free trial of Which when I needed a washing machine. None of the reviews were for anything I wanted and few were up to date ones. I usually look at reviews by searching on Google for the item I am interested in or look on AO or Euronics. If I were to leave a review of Which I would say don't bother with it.

However, having done some research on dryers a while ago I was then given one. It isn't one I would have looked at buying but it is pretty good. A Candy GrandO, fairly basic but does all I need, only pain is that the water tank is at the bottom. Large drum too.
