Dear all, we are in the process of trying to sell our house and I am just wandering what you have done to secure a sale on yours. Reluctant to go down the bread in the oven or the fresh coffee smell route, any ideas would be great!

get the agent to do the initial viewings , go out

Forget it's "yours".

Present it as a butyer would like to see it - clean, tidy, impersonal.

Somed experts say don't stress about putting kids' toys out of sight - family buyers will want to see that there is room for all their kids' stuff.

have thought about going to the other extreme and leaving it as it normally is and explaining it away as some sort of artey post-ironic statement ...that might scare them into sane offers...oh remembered another feedback...we would buy it if all the rooms were 2 foot bigger, ok hold on a minute....now where did I put that sledgehammer
