Seasonal Food

I wish school had taught me what food is in season when.

Does anyone know a way to find out? It's said it's more economical to eat this way and ds2 suggested I don't buy strawberries from Egypt last month as they didn't taste nice.

BBC Good Food website. Each month their magazine lists what is in season. Or shop very locally and ask greengrocer

Thank you @foodiefil.. We have no local shops and the nearest village doesn't even have greengrocer but I will look at the website, thank you.

If you google seasonal uk food calendar, or similar, loads will pop up.

If you look on the Ocado and Sainsburys websites they both have monthly features about seasonal food.

Thank you, both. Great ideas. I feel a brightly coloured poster coming on...
