how do I buy a get fitted a good security gate?

We need a big gate to go across our driveway to prevent access to the back of our house but have no idea where to start!

Where to I buy them and how do you put them in?

Do you have a sawmill nearby? Some friends got a v nice wooden gate from a local sawmill. Can't remember who fitted them though, sorry.

we are just in process of doing this!! had a couple of companies in to quote us as we wanted electric gates and had quotes around the 5k mark could not beleive it so dh finally sourced some that he has managed to fit himself and have ordered electric unit seperately at a total cost of about £1000 plus electricians cost for fitting. If you just need gates it shouldnt be to bad at all ! here is link to company we used to order gates from
