Hoovering - how often do you do the edges?

I've just got a cleaner for 2.5hrs a week, back at work part time and a 1 and 2 yr old. And single. Trying to make the most of the cleaner and my own cleaning time.

I tend to move the sofa out every other week or third week as it's bloomin heavy!!! We have hand held fusion do it's good for scooting under tables. We have mainly wooden floors and they show up dust and dog hair something shocking so I tend to do a whizz around everyday. Advantage/ disadvantage is dyson charge only lasts about 15mins so it really is a quick whizz!

I never pull the sofas out unless we decorate (every couple of years). They’re too heavy.

I pull the sofa out several times a week, the amount of crumbs, toys and bits under it is amazing. We have laminate floors and every crumb and bit of dust shows so I hoover at least everyday and I'm very thorough

Edges - when they look grubby and someone is coming over, so maybe once every two or three months?

Under furniture - when the dust bunnies start rolling out from underneath regularly. Twice a year?

I Hoover kitchen diner every day with my useless cordless. Or sweep . To get the bits of food up. Hardfloor. Everywhere else is carpet though. I was thinking monthly.

But don't you do the edges anyway when hoovering? All you have to do is take off the vac head. Same goes for under very heavy furniture.
I do a deep clean at least once a month.

No, I don't. I Hoover up to the edges but I don't do them with the nozzle every time. I use the nozzle to do the edges and the skirting boards, picture rails etc and the cobwebs that the drifty useless spiders leave. All that takes twice as long as just hoovering even if it's been recent done.
