How the hell do I clean sick of the sofa?

The cushion is doable, but its all over the arm of the chair and run down the back.

Its pretty much all water with some bile/cataarh, but its still gonna need something doing with it - I dunno how to get it out from under the back cushions!

I see me on freecycle for a new sofa - its dead as it is

i would go for sponging the worst of it off
followed by vanish and another sponging down
can you lift any of the cushions off at all?
if you can get a steam cleaner that may help if you can't move any of the cushions

I experience this on the back of my entire car seat, floor, seatbelts ... not pleasant is it .

I washed it all down with soapy water, then with carpet shampoo, then febreezed it. Each time i returned to the car it still stank like hell so i repeated the soapy water, carpet shampoo, febreeze for about a week until the appearance and odour of sick was virtually gone.

I realise a sofa is slightly more worrying stain wise, than my car but i'd still be inclined to go at it with carpet shampoo and a stiff brush scrubbed all over. Lots of hooovering once dry to get under the cushions.

Good luck! what colour is it?

Try this .You poor thing!

I attacked it with a bowl of persil, and will bicarb it in a bit.

Cleaning it though I realised just how old and in tatters it is, will have to hunt out a van and sort out shifting it.
