Morning ludaloo

No list today here. I am going out this morning, and will tackle all the ordinary stuff this afternoon, plus start on some hotspots I have been ignoring.

In fact I will list them ....

I have to carry on with my big clear-out downstairs - couldn't face finishing up yesterday so have lots of ends to tie up this morning.

I have no MSN no sooner do I load it all back on DH unloads it, as his Instant Admin programme keeps crashing and he is convinced its all down to me and MSN!!GRRRR!("It never did it until I started messing with it"....apparently....)

shouldbe Oh, your poor ds. It can't be nice to know it is coming. At that age they know too much in a way, don't they? I remember dd being upset by the jabs and she looked glaringly at the hv for a few years after that.

Jelley I have a massive hotspot to do - the dining room table. I might try to tackle that today. Good luck with yours.

OMG the task is already getting worse again [frustrated-at-myself emotion] why why why am I so useless at storing bits of paper - there are piles all around the house....it's a nightmare
AND I can't find my address book anywhere and have to send out thank you letters from dds birthday which was now almost 3 weeks ago

So disappointed with myself

Back from the school run, I hate this weather got soaking wet.

Washing up and drying up
Tumble dryer reloaded
hoovering
Cleaned upstairs toilet and sink

To do

Have breakfast and cuppa
tidy upstairs once other half is awake
mop and sweep the kitchen and downstairs loo
take down the front door curtain and wash it
run the washing machine on empty on a hot wash.

We have a friend coming over at the weekend to stay and I need this house sorted before Saturday morning as I have contact with my mother again on Saturday afternoon.

Been up since 6:30. DS arrived in our bed and was super fidgetty. DH wasn't going to get up, so it's down to lil ole me (again!)

Eat and tidy away

Bring his uniform down

Clean out Patch (and check he hasn't moved out)
Nit repel DS
Make water spray for Patch and pet him. Put him/her back ( S/he's a friendly little mollusc)

shouldbe Snap! I bet you mine is bigger than yours, though and I could (if I knew how to do it without dh being here to show me) take piccies and send them to you to prove it. Tell you what. I'll take photos now and will ask dh to show me how to e-mail them to you tonight. Don't lose heart. You will find the address book and if you don't, ring them up (they'd love to hear from you anyway, I'm sure) and ask for the addresses. Remember my thank you notes?

Have had a busy busy week this week in work. Worked an extra 3 hours or so yesterday as I really needed to get some things done and my boss didn't do his bit until late morning so I couldn't do it until the afternoon. Realised earlier this week that the MOT had run out on the car so that is booked in for Mon. Got a busy w/e planned so I need to get sorted for that. Better get on!

Simply believe me, mine is sooo bad and I keep wasting time coming bacl on here I couldn't find a recent bank statement if I needed to and have paper everywhere and no system or idea how to set up a sytem that I will actually use.
Can't phone people instead of writing cos phone numbers are in the address book!!! along with birthday dates and Christmas card lists etc etc...I've looked in all the ususal places and it has disappeared

Ah. Slight flaw in my plan, there! Obviously not everyone has numbers also in millions of diaries and calendars from year dot that they can fall back on in time of need. That are taking up space and causing clutter on the dining room table. Bet you you'll find it by 12 noon, shouldbe. I'll have a go at finding that boring pensions thing that I haven't paid attention to. Oooops.

lol simply Hope you find it I'm hoping that by systematically going round the house and bringing the piles of paper one at a time to the living room, sorting through them and creating the files I'll find my address book in the end...it's not the kind of thing that goes missing though, it's always towards the top of a pile as it's in such constant use... I can see some results of my work - the recycling box is now taking up several boxes and the shredding pile is increasing too so I must be doing something...I just can't see much of a result as I look around the house...

I'm having a worry moment, please reassure me! I had a friend around last night and we ended up discussing my washing machine. He suggested putting it on a 90 wash with a bit of bleach in the drawer to clean out the pipes. Please tell me this isn't going to go really wrong and it won't turn my kitchen into something that resembles an 18-30 holiday!

Can't help with the wm Aufish, but I'd have thought just running a hot (empty) cycle it'd do some good...worth a try maybe?

Breaking good news is that my address book is found Can't take the credit myself though - dh called back, I moaned about my missing address book and he went and found it in the first place he looked ...unbelievable - I'd been hunting all morning! Other paper is coming together but it's very slow, untidy progress and is getting me down - I'll be when it's done though and really do intend to do my best to stay on top of it from now on

I've put a bit of bleach already in it and now am hoping that I won't live to regret it! Keep your fingers crossed for me! Well done for finding your address book, I keep mine along with my writing paper and writing pens on my computer table in a very nice folder type thing, purple suede and its gorge! Keep a book of stamps as well inside it and then you know where everything is.

Hope the wm is OK aufish I have a drawer for my address book etc but am ashamed to say it's now so full of other junk that it doesn't get used I will get on top of all these extras soon though. The house is generally holding it's own as my daily routine gets better so I'm sure I can find the time to sort through all these other jobs and get on top of it all....(I hope so anyway...)

Oh God - give me a kick, PLEASE. I can't stay off the rest of MN and the phone keeps ringing and I've done nothing!!

My ds is home and watching Bob the Builder. Off to see the nurse soon for his jabs (he's not a happy boy about it though I will be armed with many, many bribes )

Just back, and read the thread. It is reassuring to know we all seem to be stuck on the same things...I'm reasonably on top of the daily chores now, but the pile of stuff in our bedroom wardrobe is 3 foot high (sadly that is not an exxageraton) and the piles of papers are spreading

I've done tax return and tax credit stuff this week, but now have all the paprers from that mixed in with everything else.
Not helped by the fact that ds got hold of the bank statement folder and emptied it yesterday.

I need to get moving. I have an extra hour today as both dds have after school clubs. Kick me if you see me again before 3, please.
