Getting something white again

So my idiot DH has put a brown chair covering in the wash with my lovely white summer cardigan, which is now a dull white/beige colour. I've used a colour restorer on it from Wilkinson's but it's still not back to white.

Any ideas what I can use to restore it?

Napisan?

Is it compete cotton? If so, I would just cold bleach, using chlorine bleach, nothing removes colour of stains like bleach.

You are supposed to fabric bleach in a bucket of water, but tbh I have always done whites bleaching in the machine (use THIN bleach though if machine).

Failing that, I would dye it a different colour with a fabric dye, but how well it takes will depend on fibre and normal colour matching rules apply (ie a red garment and a blue dye makes purple) so depending on how beige it is and what colour you select, you may get a slight variation of that.

Thank you for the replies I'll try both!

Use non-chlorine bleach like sterilising solution. Chlorine bleach rots things.
