Getting rid of "new" smell

Just had pretty much whole of downstairs decorated - painted, new flooring, furniture etc and it's all a bit stinky. As much as I love the warm weather there's no breeze through the house even with all the doors and windows open so I'm having difficulty airing it out. The furniture and carpet in particular has a really strong "new" smell and combined with the smell of paint it's not very nice! Any tips to get it smelling fresher?
Disclaimer: I hate zoflora...sorry..😔

One of the Chef's candles? They make one for cooking smells which is very effective but do other scents too.

An onion chopped in half? I did do it once but can't remember if it actually worked 🤔. Just left the dotted around the house.

Did read that an onion gets rid of paint smells but am worried that in this heat it'll just make the house smell of BO!! lol

Onions really do work.

Might try the Prices open window candle. Thanks 👍👍
