We currently have a broken tumble dryer that sits in outside garage- so every time we had wet washing from machine we'd have to walk through garden to get to it- results in absolute chaos- piles of laundry sitting around the tumble dryer forgotten (as garage so cold/wet/horrible/out of the way) and then piles of damp washing from machine that got forgotten as no dryer next to it to load into.
Cut to the actual point: even through the utility room isn't' massive, I'm determined to get a new dryer that I'll put on floor next to machine so we can instantly load washing into it. Thing is- no hole in wall for vented dryer- but there is a single door that opens to garden (that we never ever use as exit through main bi-folds in living area) so if vented could I just open the door in utility and stick the tube outside?
Or would you recommend the condensed dryer?
Also: any tips/advice/clever ideas for keeping on top of laundry/amazing laundry systems/storage/organisational ideas you'd be willing to share would be so gratefully received, our laundry room is a complete tip and its really stressing me out! Thanks.
