I'm looking for kitchen knife recommendations please :-) I want to get a good quality set that will last. Can you tell me what you love or hate about your choices?

I'm building up a Robert Welch set. I like them as they feel quite weighty. They are about £40 per knife.

Victorinox, really good quality knives and not too expensive. I use the chefs knife the most.

I've got Victorinox knives which are really good and excellent value for money. I have one Robert Welch knife which is also very good but was really expensive.

Agree, nothingwitty, that's why I buy one every few months. A whole set would be ££££. I've got a victorinox can opener which is the bees knees.
