We recently had a new Worcester greenstar heatslave boiler fitted st beginning of April with a Honeywell wireless thermostat. I have this set at 18 for us getting up then 14 between 8 and the heating coming on again at 6 at 18.
I have the boiler itself set at 63, does the boiler cut off once the boiler itself gets to temp even if room isn’t at temp? This morning I got up and the thermostat read 12.5, the heating had been on at 7.20 and off at 9 it was up to 16.5 by the time is switched off.
the room where the thermostat is mostly kept is the living room, it is a big living room but has 2 radiators and all radiators are double panel throughout the house. All radiators have TRVs, the living room ones are left fully open and the rest are set accordingly at 2
It is an old farm cottage with solid walls but the roof insulation has been done recently and it’s upvc double glazing.
